Technical Quiz event at Samar-2025
Ms. Sathvika G and Ms. Monisha L of the MCA Department secured the Third Prize in the Technical Quiz event at "Samar-2025", an inter-collegiate competition organized by Thiruthangal Nadar College on 12th March 2025. A total of seven MCA students from our department participated in this event, showcasing their technical knowledge and competitive spirit.
PAN India Web Scraping Challenge
Mr. Joshwa A, along with 15 other students from the MCA Department, actively participated in the PAN India Web Scraping Challenge 2025, conducted by S.A. College of Arts & Science on 18th March 2025. This event provided a valuable platform for students to demonstrate their skills in data extraction and web technologies on a national level.

Mr. Harish N and Mr. Joshwa Kennedy of First Year MCA Department secured the Second Place in the Treasure Hunt event at the National Level Inter-College Symposium "NEXXUM – 2025", organized by SRM Institute of Science and Technology on 21st March 2025. Mr. Karthik N, Mr. Suman M, and Mr. Deepak R from the First Year MCA Department attended the National Level Technical Symposium “ENTHRAL 2K25”, organized by Alpha College of Engineering, Chennai on 21st March 2025. Their participation provided valuable exposure to emerging technologies and fostered academic interaction with peers from various institutions.
WEB FORGE
Mr. Karthik N and Mr. Deepak R from the MCA Department won the Third Prize in the WEB FORGE event, organized by the Event’s Club, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, on 25th March 2025. A total of 10 students from the First Year MCA Department participated in the event, showcasing their web development skills and creativity.
Hack the Horizon – 24 Hour Hackathon
Mr. Joshwa A, Mr. Suman M, Mr. Kiran Kumar, Mr. Harish S., Mr. Joshwa Kennedy, and Mr. Aravindh from the MCA Department participated in the “Hack the Horizon – 24 Hour Hackathon” organized by the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society at KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, held on 27th and 28th March 2025. This intense hackathon challenged their problem-solving skills, creativity, and teamwork in a competitive environment.
Hackathon - Empowering Geriatric Care through Innovation
Mr. Suman M., Mr. Joswa A., and Ms. Arundhathi N. B., students from the MCA Department, participated in the Hackathon “Empowering Geriatric Care through Innovation” conducted by S.A. Arts and Science College, Chennai, on February 3, 2025. They secured third place and won a cash prize of ₹1,000.
National Level Technical Symposium – Le Tech’25
The MCA Department organized a National Level Technical Symposium – Le Tech’25 on February 19, 2025. The event was graced by Dr. Ganapathy Subramaniam B., Vice President, AQ and RPA Services, CEI India Pvt. Limited, Chennai, as the Chief Guest. A total of 93 students from various colleges actively participated in the symposium, making it a successful and enriching technical gathering.

Joshua Kennedy D and Likith B of the MCA Department won the first prize in the Pixel Maze event with a cash award of ₹3000 at the “National Level Student Symposium” held at St. Joseph’s Institute of Technology on 28th September 2024.
